This book is the first and only book out so far but I loved it. It does switch POV from 1st person to 3rd person a little over half way through but I was so invested that I didn't care. I look forward to more books by this author with this MC. This MC was well rounded and 'human' and the pace was just right.
In this world most of the people are shifters. However the MC is a Zero, or a Zero plus to be exact. He is not a shifter, but his senses, reflexes, and strength is stronger than a normal Zero. His wish was to be in Law Enforcement but he was turned away from every one so he became a private investigator.
He is hired to find an Heiress socialite who disinherited her family and became a recluse on her boat. OF course he found her. However he hadn't expected to fall in love with her. But it wasn't to last, she was murdered in a hail of bullets. The rest of the book is him seeking justice for her.
I plan to read any other books that come out in this series as they come out. I was sad to finish this book because I enjoyed it so much but was satisfied very much with the ending. AS I said I look forward to more books about this MC and this world.
